Company Insights

This website is owned and operated by Sunburst logo LLC.

We are a St. Louis based company which caters to custom screen printing and custom embroidery on T-shirts, hats, and jackets. It's been are experienced that every job starts with good communication. This all starts with us being good listeners as well as asking the right questions in order to identify the goals of our potential customer. This approach helps lend itself to us identifying their objectives in order to get them where they want to go. Once these goals have been identified, then we can start to implement the right strategies and put forth a plan of action in order to meet them. It is our mission to come up with a plan of action that is going to be mutually good for everyone involved. If you happen to be working with a limited budget, we want to know. If you are trying to raise money for a particular fundraiser, we want to know that as well. The more we know about you and what you are trying to accomplish, the better chance we have of being able to help. We want to create a scenario where you are as comfortable working with us as we are catering to your embroidery and screen printing needs.

Why did I establish the T-Shirt company?

I saw a need for a screen printing and embroidery firm that had the flexibility to cater to the needs of the small businessman who is just starting out as well as the large established corporations.

Who is our normal every day clientele?

A typical every day bid request is normally someone who wants an image put on tee shirts. The quantity could vary from between one dozen to as many as 500 pieces. We don't really have a set in stone approach of doing things because our customer base is so diverse from one another. Although most of these requests are similar, they are still unique unto themselves. We take great pride in the ability to be flexible. We give the small tee shirt orders the same respect and attention to detail as the large ones. We understand that the person who only needs a small amount of T-shirts is typically on a very limited budget. Their expenditure is just as important to them as some major corporation's order would be viewed as. It's all relative. Therefore, our approach is always consistent and we approach every job with the same respect and attention to detail regardless of the size or the dollar amount spent. I believe that this sensitivity to our customers needs is what distinguishes us from most other custom screen printing and custom embroidery companies in the St. Louis area.

Where does the bulk of your work come from?

We acquire the lion's share of our work two ways. Our bread-and-butter is repeat business. The same person who orders now will usually call us back in three months when the season changes. In other words, they will go from applying a logo to short sleeve garments to later wanting long sleeve. Or they will go from cold weather jackets to warm weather wind breakers. We find that a repeat customer is usually easier to deal with than a first timer.

The first time you meet a customer, you not only have to sell him the product but you have to establish confidence in your ability to get the job done correctly and on time. The second time around he or she is already confident in your ability to deliver on your promises, so all he wants to do is either repeat his last order or just change the style shirt or hat.

Could you describe your product line?

We carry a combination of over two thousand different types of wearable apparel. These range from what those in the screen printing industry refer to as a disposable carnival T-shirts to extremely high end designer brands worthy of the highest quality embroidery. No choice is right or wrong. It simply is relative to the what type of quality they are looking for and how much they want to spend.

Why would a potential customer choose to work with us over a competitor?

There are many reasons why you would choose to work with us to meet your wearable requirements over our competitors. One of the more important reasons is that we provide new clientele with a finished sew out or a virtual proof of their digitized embroidery before we actually apply it to the garment. That way there is never a bad surprise at the end when you open up your box. If there is an adjustment, we can simply edit the logo and provide another sew out for approval. Then and only then, do we start the production process. Surprisingly, this is not common industry standard. When it comes time to open up a box of finished product, that is not the time to ask you how you like them.

Another reason is overall value. We often encourage you to compare our quote to at least two or even three of our competitors in the St. Louis or St. Charles area in order for you to be sure that you are getting the best possible overall deal that you can. Otherwise, how would you know that you're getting the best value possible if you do not have anything to compare it to? When putting together a proposal, we not only will provide you with pricing as requested, but we often try to bring something extra to the table in order to create a perceived overall value and act as an incentive. This has proven itself to be very conducive towards establishing a first time customer relationship. Once we complete that first order, the repeat orders usually take care of themselves, as well as the referrals. No matter the size of your order, you can be assured that it will be given respect and attention to detail that it deserves. It will be produced by professionals who have years of experience under their belt.

Superior embroidery all starts with creating the software that tells the machine how to sew the image. An accomplished logo designer has the ability to throw the stitches in different directions in order to create the illusion of depth. This allows the logo to become almost three dimensional, while remaining clean, sharp and crisp. For example, when establishing an image for a hat, a good designer will recognize that a finished cap is round and must be sewn on a radius. It will sew differently than flat goods. A design that is created to be shown on a radius will always work on a flat goods, but a design created for flat application won't always work on a something that needs to be sewn on a curve. A superior designer can often create the software that will work on both. We can also do specialty embroidery applications such as puff and even use specialty threads such as neon, metallic, and glow in the dark threads.

Our seasoned staff has a lot of experience under its belt. They are accustomed to working with the very best equipment that our industry as to offer. We are capable of handling large or small orders. We can offer spot color screen printing as well as ten color simulation. We use manual as well as automated presses, capable of producing extremely high-volume orders quickly and efficiently. We offer a variety of specialty custom screen printing effects such as glow in the dark, metallic, puff and high density applications.

Although much of our business is corporate, we recognize that every piece of artwork is unique. Custom orders are our specialty.
